Ingredients:

  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon red chili sauce
  • 1 tablespoon tomato ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Spring onions for garnish

Instructions:

Paneer Marinade:

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine all-purpose flour, cornflour, ginger-garlic paste, soy sauce, red chili sauce, and salt.
  2. Add water gradually to make a smooth batter with a coating consistency.
  3. Dip the paneer cubes into the batter, ensuring they are well-coated.
  4. Heat oil in a pan and shallow fry the paneer cubes until golden brown. Set aside.

Chilli Paneer Sauce:

  1. In the same pan, add 2 tablespoons of oil.
  2. Add chopped onions, green chilies, and ginger-garlic paste. Sauté until onions turn translucent.
  3. Add diced bell peppers and cook for a few minutes until they are slightly tender.
  4. In a bowl, mix soy sauce, red chili sauce, tomato ketchup, vinegar, sugar, salt, and pepper. Add this sauce mixture to the pan.
  5. Stir the mixture well and let it cook for a couple of minutes until the sauce thickens.
  6. Add the fried paneer cubes to the sauce and toss them gently, ensuring the paneer is coated evenly with the sauce.
  7. Garnish with chopped spring onions.
